Slowing down photography with a unique story for each photo, Martin Seitlinger
Seitlinger Photography
Why are my photography projects so unique?
In my photographic projects I focus on traveling in an adventurous style, with my bicycle and my own feet - only if needed, also public transportation. Carrying all my gear by myself, also for long distances, I am traveling unsupported. With this background each photo will tell his own story of creation and how to get to the place where I made it.
Why shooting analog and in epic panoramic format?
I shoot primarily on black and white negative film with a Linhof Technorama 6x17 (617) panoramic camera.
Because of this panoramic photography my work is immense rich in detail and will be darkroom printed from the negativ on photographic paper or digital under acrylic glass, both in monumental sizes. I call it "Artistic Adventure Photography"
Who is Martin Seitlinger?
Martin Seitlinger is a self taught landscape and travel photographer – based in Salzburg, Austria.
I am focusing on slowing down the process of photography with long and unsupported projects where only a few photos are taken. That’s why each of my photos has a unique story of creation.
