Why are my photography projects so unique?

In my analog photographic projects I focus on traveling in an adventurous style, for example with my bicycle and my own feet. Carrying all my gear by myself, also for long distances, I am traveling unsupported. With this background each photo will tell his own story of creation and how to get to the place where I made it.

Why shooting also analog and 
in epic panoramic format?

I shoot primarily on black and white negative film with a Linhof Technorama 6x17 (617) panoramic camera. Because of this panoramic photography my work is immense rich in detail and will be darkroom printed from the negativ on photographic paper or digital under acrylic glass, both in monumental sizes. I call it "Artistic Adventure Photography"

Who is Martin Seitlinger?

Martin Seitlinger is a professional artistic & adventurous photographer based in Salzburg, Austria. 

I always spent a lot of my time traveling and taking pictures, already in photography somehow in a semi-professional way over the last years.

Beginning of 2023 I made a big step for myself, quit my job in the business world and fully concentrated on intensive and extraordinary photography projects as a professional photographer.

I am focusing on slowing down the process of photography with focus on long and unsupported projects where only a few photos are taken. That’s why each of my photos has a unique story of creation.

My work has already received international recognition, including several Honorable Mentions in 2024 and 2025, as wel as an Official Selection at the IPA 2025.
